Seventh Annual Honolulu Surf Film Festival  |  Honolulu Museum of Art, 900 S. Beretania St., Honolulu (O’ahu)  |  Ongoing through July 31, varying showtimes  | $10 tickets

This festival celebrates the best in new and classic surf films from around the world with a collection of 52 shorts and features showcasing surf’s origins, culture, and ever-ongoing adventures.

Join 300 other swimmers from all the other Hawaiian islands as well as the mainland and international visitors, in one of four open-water races.

Enjoy a Polynesian dance competition featuring local and international halaus (dance schools) alongside guest performers, crafts, food, and talented local musicians.

Orchid-growing is a passion and talent that blossoms on the islands. At this show, snag a complementary orchid corsage before enjoying a taiko drum performance at 10 a.m. and wandering through beautiful, diverse orchids while learning how to care for your own (because of course it’s possible to leave without one).
