Upcountry Farmers Market | Kulamalu Town Center (Maui) | Saturdays, 7 to 11 a.m.

Drive out to this eclectic market complete with crafters, farmers, and bakers. If you want to get a taste of local produce, this is for you! Expect fun treats ranging from the classic to the innovative, including Maui Cones (We recommend the mochiko chicken.). If you can’t make it, don’t stress—there are markets all around the islands on various days.

2015 Honolulu Pride | Various Locations (O‘ahu) | June 1–7
From creative writing classes to dance parties, the 2015 Honolulu Pride project will definitely get you involved in their pride week. Attend the Rainbow Film Festival, cheer on contestants at the Mr. Miss Ms. Gay Pride Finale, and top it off by joining the parade from Ala Moana to Kapiolani Park.

This eclectic film festival will host daily screenings of acclaimed films. Enjoy celebrity tributes, panels, and special events all around Waialea.

One of the longest running LGBT film festivals in the country, this festival will screen documentaries, feature films, and shorts.

Slack Key Guitar and Ukulele Concert | Hanalei Community Center (Kaua‘i) | June 5, 4–6 p.m. | $20 (prices may vary)
Experience the unique style of slack key guitar. This concert will provide local products for sale along with live entertainment and music.

First Friday | Honolulu’s Chinatown (O’ahu) | June 5, 5–9 p.m.
Visit bustling Chinatown and take a garner at the unique stores making this town come alive. With stores containing curiosities to little vintage boutiques, this slow-pace event will give you time to explore.

Kapalua Resort partners are creating a new spin on the longest running food and wine event in the nation. This event will embrace all things Hawaiian while celebrating the finest foods and wine.
